Had Nixon simply denied the men involved in Watergate any help events would have been much better for him. However his resignation is symbolic of his humbleness and the supremacy of American democracy; a system in which leaders know when their term is up and forfeit supreme power by their own personal will.
This guy gets the can for telling some dudes to break into a hotel yet Reagan gets a soft slap on the wrist with Iran/contra, Clinton gets a pass on NAFTA, and Bush is awarded a second term with Iraq. God damn and people continue to wonder why this country is going to hell.

@mr19932001 Bush hasn’t done anything that bad , Obama just sucks, I’m impartial to Clinton, and Reagan, in my opinion, was one of the best presidents in United States history. ( funny tid bit when I spell checked obama it said osama lol)
@DabroodThompson I never said anything about liking Obama. His policies with national security are no different from Bush’s, he hasn’t done anything to fix the economy or fix our standing in the world. Other than healthcare reform, he’s a third term of that Jackass W. There is no leadership in the whitehouse, and the sad part is, we haven’t had any leadership in the whitehouse since Clinton left.
